  1. You'll be happy to know that placing 39th out of 534 school districts puts us in the top 7% of school discricts.

    I originally misunderstood as well and thought we were #7 instead of in the 7th percentile.

  2. Money Magazine ranked Lee's Summit 7th in the nation and they broadcast it near and far. The truth is in the numbers. Money Magazine doesn't know about education. They know about money.

  3. This Kansas City suburb recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation of its downtown, where residents can enjoy summer festivals every weekend, in addition to other events.

    Surrounded by three large lakes, Lees Summit is also a big area for health care, with one of the nations largest retirement communities, John Knox Village.

    The city is well known for its award-winning schools (number 7 in the country on our list).
