LEE'S SUMMIT, MO (KCTV) -
Authorities are investigating after a standoff outside a Lee's Summit home Tuesday morning.
Lee's Summit police were called at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to a home in the 400 block of Northeast Westwind Drive over a domestic disturbance.
Police surrounded the home because a man barricaded himself inside. Officers said a woman was able to leave the house when police arrived.
Authorities cleared the scene at 9:25 a.m. after they found out the man wasn't inside the home.
